Data deletion

A client can ask Om Concepts to disconnect an Instagram account and delete the tenant-scoped connection record used by Om Social Feeds.

What deletion includes

The server-only Instagram access token and associated connection metadata are deleted from the tenant's encrypted Postgres connection record. The client website continues to show its local curated fallback.

Request deletion

Email alex@omconcepts.net and identify the business and Instagram username. Om will verify the request before deleting a connection. You can also remove the app in Instagram, which triggers the service's signed deauthorization process. Instagram can send a separate signed data deletion request directly to the service; a successful request returns an opaque confirmation code and a private status URL without exposing the account identity.
